School principal bans Fall holidays because they are 'insensitive'

Thanksgiving, Columbus Day, Halloween banned in a Massachusetts elementary school:
She had already told staff not to let the kids dress up for Halloween, according to the Boston Herald.

Superintendent Tony Pierantozzi told The Herald that Halloween is 'problematic' because of connections to witchcraft.
No mention of Christmas, but, being contrary here, I have to ask: what about Christmas being "problematic" because of its "connections" to Christianity/Catholics/the Vatican?
